  Sopwell House - a fusion of historic country house, timeless style and contemporary luxury

Sopwell House, near St Albans was purchased by the current owner in 1986 and this beautiful Georgian house is the former family home of Lord Mountbatten and is set in twelve acres of magnificent gardens and grounds and is located within easy reach of the M1 and M25. Sopwell House has been sympathetically renovated to retain many of its original features and characteristics whilst improving guest facilities. Sopwell house how has 129 bedrooms, including 16 Mews apartments, a purpose-built conference centre and a Country Club offering extensive health and fitness facilities to hotel guests and members.
